Doha: Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti met with Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran H E Mehrdad Bazrpash, in Tehran, yesterday.
The two ministers reviewed aspects of Qatar-Iran cooperation in the fields of transportation, maritime navigation, commercial harbours, air transportation and civil aviation, and ways to enhance them. Qatar’s Ambassador to Iran H E Mohammed bin Hamad Al Hajri also attended the meeting.
Al Sulaiti also offered his condolences on the death of former Minister of Roads and Urban Development H E Rostam Ghasemi, recognising his efforts to develop bilateral relations in the areas of transportation.
