Ooredoo CEO, QFA President discuss Amir Cup Final sponsorship

Doha: Ooredoo, a key sports sponsor in Qatar and beyond, has met with the Qatar Football Association (QFA) at its headquarters in Doha to promote the upcoming Amir Cup final. 

The QFA hosted Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Qatar. He discussed sports sponsorship with QFA President H E Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmad Al Thani.

The two business leaders exchanged commemorative plaques, signifying the deep friendship between both organisations. Ooredoo has been announced as the official telecommunications partner of the 50th edition of the Amir Cup Final.

Sheikh Mohammed said: “In a big year for football in our region, it is great to be working with the Qatar Football Association, making the relationship between our two organisations even stronger. It indicates the vitality of Ooredoo as a local and regional sports sponsor, not least for the pending Amir Cup final which we are proud to support as an increasingly exciting fixture in Qatar’s sporting calendar.
