Doha: Old Doha Port has launched an integrated summer programme featuring enhanced visitor access, reduced parking rates, and a variety of sports and marine activities across the destination during the summer season.

From June 15 to October 15, 2026, vehicles will be allowed access to roads within Mina District daily from 3pm to 10pm, enabling visitors to park closer to retail and dining outlets and reducing walking distances during the warmer months.

The destination has also introduced reduced valet parking rates across Old Doha Port throughout the summer, alongside promotional offers including complimentary parking for visitors who meet minimum spending requirements at participating shops, restaurants, and cafés. Visitors to Mina Fish Market (Chabrat Al Mina) can also benefit from free valet parking without any minimum spend.

To improve mobility within the destination, complimentary golf cart services will operate across Mina Park and Mina District, helping visitors move between key attractions and facilities.

As part of the summer programme, Old Doha Port will host a weekly running event every Tuesday, in addition to a range of sports and fitness activities inside the Terminal building. These include women-only fitness sessions at City Gallery and near the aquarium area.

The waterfront destination will also offer a variety of marine activities at the Container Yard, including fishing, surfing, and water skiing. Traditional sea fishing will be available from dedicated platforms at Mina Park overlooking Doha’s skyline.

Old Doha Port said the initiatives aim to provide a comfortable and accessible summer experience while offering diverse leisure, tourism, and waterfront activities for visitors throughout the season.
