Doha, Qatar: Al Duhail SC announced Friday that its international striker, Almoez Ali, underwent successful surgery in London to recover from a leg injury.
The club said in a press release that the player is scheduled to begin his treatment and rehabilitation program in the coming period until his return to the field, without specifying the duration of his absence.
Almoez Ali is considered one of Al Duhail's key players, having contributed to the team's numerous championship wins.
He also played a crucial role in Qatar's qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup for the first time through the qualifiers, and in winning the AFC Asian Cup titles in 2019 and 2023
