Doha: Doha Municipality, represented by the Health Control Section of the Municipal Control Department, continued inspection campaigns of food establishments in various areas to ensure their compliance with requirements to ensure health and safety of consumers.
The municipal inspectors carried out an inspection campaign in the Pearl-Qatar to ensure that food establishments and food and beverage outlets comply with the health requirements in accordance with Law No. 8 of 1990 regarding the organisation of food control, and this is done using the latest devices provided by the Ministry to the inspectors.
Meanwhile, Al Rayan Municipality represented by Health Monitoring Department also conducted inspection drives in different places across the municipality.
The inspection drives covered food establishments on Salwa Road and Woqod Petrol Station at Al Karaana to check the safety of food products and compliance with health requirements.
This is within the framework of the municipality’s efforts to intensify campaigns on food establishments to ensure the health of consumers.
