Bharathi, the Indian association of Al Khor community, celebrated the sixty-sixth Republic Day at Al Khor recently. More than 600 members participated in the celebrations which was conducted at the sports hall of British stream school of Al khor community. Thomas Saldhana, representing the Head of clubs was the chief guest of the evening. Balasubramanian, Head of Senior School, and Aarti Srivatsava, Head of Junior School, were the guests of honour. Vishal J Mehta, president of Bharathi, in his address outlined the various socio cultural events conducted by Bharathi. Bharathi General Secretary Magi Srinivasan delivered the vote of thanks. Milind Athavale was the master of ceremony and also conducted quiz.
