Qatar calls on Sudan to end the fighting immediately and seek a resolution through dialogue and peaceful means

The State of Qatar expresses its deep concern about the developments of the situation in Khartoum and Meroe in the brotherly Republic of Sudan. It calls on all parties to stop the fighting immediately, exercise maximum restraint, resort to the voice of reason, give priority to the public interest, and spare civilians the conse- quences of fighting.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the State of Qatar's aspiration that all parties pursue dialogue and peaceful ways to bridge differences.
