Doha: Crowne Plaza Doha — The Business Park hotel celebrated the 115th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence on Wednesday at its Colleagues Dining Hall.
“This is a fantastic way for us to learn the history and culture of Filipinos. It is interesting to know the traditional celebrations of the Philippines and how beautiful this country truly is,” Savino Leone, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Doha, said in his welcome speech.
The guests were treated with traditional Filipino delicacies and dishes. The highlight of the programme was a video presentation of “A Tribute to Filipino Overseas Workers and Their Families.”
