Doha: Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) will organise an international conference — Doha Dialogue on Migration 2014 — at Doha Marriot tomorrow and on Tuesday.
According to the agenda, Doha Dialogue will begin with discussions about experiences from around the world. It will be attended by a delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC), presidents of more than 25 Gulf, Arab, southeast Asian, and European national societies, and top officials of major Qatari government and private institutions and corporations.
The participants will submit their recommendations at the conference to be officially opened tomorrow by
the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs H E Dr Abdullah bin Saleh Al Khulaifi.
The programme will be attended by reputed delegates including QRC Chairman Dr Mohamed bin Ghanem Al Ali Al Maadheed, the International Institute of Humanitarian Law (IIHL) President Professor Fausto Pocar, and IFRC Vice-President Dr Zhao Baige.
Dr Al Maadheed said that this conference is a further step towards the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, which seeks to ensure a high standard of living for all society members. QNA
