Doha, Qatar: The second edition of the 'Hamba' Exhibition of Pakistani Mangoes and Products at Souq Waqif continues to attract visitors with its lively atmosphere and diverse offerings.
During the first five days, the exhibition welcomed over 50,000 visitors, underscoring the strong interest this event has generated.
Total mango sales during the first five days exceeded 104 tons of fresh Pakistani mangoes, which are flown in daily specifically for the exhibition to ensure top-quality produce for visitors.
The exhibition features a wide variety of Pakistani mango types, with particularly high demand for Chaunsa and Anwar Ratol varieties, known for their rich, sweet flavor and premium quality—a testament to visitors’ refined tastes and appreciation for fresh fruit.
The event has also seen strong interest in participating restaurants and shops, which offer a range of desserts and dishes made with mango, providing visitors with a unique and integrated culinary experience.
In a statement, Khalid Saif Al-Suwaidi, General Supervisor of the Exhibition, said: “The turnout has exceeded our expectations from day one. Visitors are eager to try the premium varieties flown in daily specifically for the exhibition, alongside the strong interest in participating restaurants and shops offering innovative mango-based desserts and dishes. We are committed to delivering a comprehensive and exceptional experience to all Souq Waqif visitors.”
It is worth noting that the exhibition will conclude on July 19, 2025. Visiting hours are daily from 4PM to 9PM, with extended hours on official holidays until 10PM, allowing as many visitors as possible to enjoy this special experience in the vibrant atmosphere of Souq Waqif.
