DOHA: The Kuwaiti Interior ministry has succeeded in securing the northern border with Iraq by using latest technological devices which have the ability to prevent any infiltration by intruders.
The Kuwaiti newspaper, Al Shahid, said the ministry had begun to install invisible underground systems to detect infiltration through border. It has also begun to set up security system using sophisticated electricity devices along the southern border with a length of 237km.
The project follows a report which said security personnel were not able to prevent infiltration and after a number of people caught had admitted that they had entered the country illegally.
