Doha: In response to a video of labourers protesting on C-Ring Road, the Ministry of Labour has stated that legal measures are being taken against the violators.
A Twitter user shared yesterday, August 14, 2022, a video of a number of labourers on C-Ring Road tagging the Ministry and requesting them, in Arabic, to ensure that workers get their due and to hold companies that violate laws accountable.

To the tweet, Ministry responded, in Arabic, writing, "Thank you for your interest. The Ministry of Labor is working hard to ensure the implementation of the wage protection system, and the necessary legal measures are being taken against the violating establishments."
Ministry of Labour has been undertaking intensive inspection campaigns to ensure companies comply with the laws and ministerial decisions concerned with regulating the labour market in the country.
