Italy relegate Poland in UEFA Nations League

ISTANBUL:  Poland has been relegated to League B in the UEFA Nations League, with Russia very close to replacing them after beating Turkey.

At home, Poland late Sunday was defeated by Italy 1-0 in League A and dropped to League B after collecting only one point in the first three matches in the group.

Russia also beat Turkey 2-0 in a UEFA Nations League group match on Sunday.

In League B - Group 2, Russia lead Turkey by 4 points at top of the group.

The loss ended Turkey's hopes of being promoted to League A, while Russia is close to being promoted to League A.
