Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced in a statement that, in the interest of public safety, it urges everyone to comply with precautionary measures when holding social events, including weddings and condolence gatherings, under the current circumstances.
The Ministry emphasises that such events must be held only in indoor halls and enclosed venues, and not in tents or open areas, to avoid potential risks to public safety.
The Ministry also stressed the importance of adhering to the instructions issued by the competent authorities and refraining from any practices that may expose individuals or the community to danger, in line with collective responsibility and a commitment to protecting lives and property.
MoI also stated it appreciates the cooperation of all and affirmed that such compliance reflects community awareness and contributes to enhancing public safety and maintaining the security and stability of society.
