Doha: Eleven children in Qatar will be able to participate in a special coaching session with Lionel Messi and learn inside tips on football with him under a free Facebook contest launched by Ooredoo.

Parents can enter the social media contest “Play for your dream! Train with Messi!” on a special tab on the Ooredoo Facebook page until May 17. On May 20, Messi, the football star and Ooredoo global ambassador, will visit Doha to make a major announcement that will enhance the lives of children in Ooredoo’s global footprint, including in Qatar. In order to enter the contest at www.facebook.com/OoredooQatar, parents can answer two questions on behalf of children who are 8-14 years old: “Why does your kid want to play with Messi?” and “If he/she could ask him a question, what would it be?” They also must provide the child’s full name, age, and a phone number and email address.

Ooredoo’s management team will select the 11 winners based on the best entries, and the winners will be announced on Facebook. To enter, parents must be at least 21 years old and have a valid Qatar ID. The prize is non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
