Doha: Babyshop organised a drawing contest ‘EXPRESSION’ presented and sponsored by Commercial Bank of Qatar for children from three to 14 years.
Participants were divided into 3-5, 6-9 and 10-14 age groups and had a choice of selecting time slots such as 9am, noon and 4pm. The themes included ‘Mother’, ‘Water Conservation/Tree Plantation’ and ‘Road Safety’. Santosh Pai, COO, Landmark group, Qatar, said: “We are very happy with the response to one of our biggest events, providing a platform and encouraging talent among children.
“This year, the response has been overwhelming with over 4,000 entries. We wish the children and their parents the best, combined with a fun-filled and rewarding day during the competition.”
In each category, top three winners will be selected for prizes and other participants will receive certificates. Results will be announced on June 21 at Al Asmakh Mall. The Peninsula
