The event also aims at creating positive impact in raising awareness among the people and those who sponsor workers about labour rights and duties.
The ‘Cultural Salon’ will also educate people about how to deal with labourers to reduce problems that arise between the sponsors and their workers.
The ‘Cultural Salon’ will discuss a number of topics by clerics and experts such as Sheikh Ibrahim Bu Basheet, Sheikh Hashem A Mashhadani, Dr Osama Thabet Al Alusi, Al Salahuddin Zein, Al Mahmoud Said, with the participation of a group of officials, academic professors, experts and researchers, who are concerned about labour rights, in addition to media persons.
The event will address three main areas as the legitimate role of religious institutions in raising awareness about labour rights, the legal role about international conventions and Qatari legislations in this field, in addition to the media’s role in raising awareness.
