Kabul: At least 25 Taliban militants were killed and 10 others were injured following joint military operations by Afghan national security forces in the past.
The Afghan Ministry of Interior said in a statement yesterday that the operations were conducted jointly by Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army and NDS to clean some of the areas from terrorists and enemies of peace and stability of Afghanistan.
The ministry said 25 armed Taliban members were killed, ten wounded and four others were arrested by Afghan National Security Forces.
Afghan National Police discovered and confiscated light and heavy rounds ammunition, the statement added.
Taliban militants group has not commented regarding the report so far. AGENCY
