DOHA: As part of North Road enhancement work, Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is closing Umm Ethnaitain Interchange exit heading north on Al Shamal Road leading to the army camp from Sunday. The closure will last until December 18.
Traffic will be diverted at the interchange and motorists from Doha heading to the camp will need to reach Al Zubara Interchange, take a U-turn and then go right to the camp.
Motorists leaving the camp and want to head north should continue to Al Ghesen Interchange and take a U-turn as shown in the map. The diversion is being implemented to allow for the construction of a two-lane service road on the eastern part of Al Shamal Road.The Peninsula
