Shantiniketan Indian School (SIS) organised an Inter-school photography contest and exhibition entitled “PERCEPTIONS”.
The exhibition of creative work of students from 7 Indian Schools of Doha was inaugurated by Abdul Kader, General Secretary of Shantiniketan Indian School Management.
Omar Gohar Ansari of MES Indian School; Somya Joshi of DMIS and Abdul Basith of SIS bagged the First, Second and Third position respectively.
Eminent professional photographers of Doha - Ajith Everester, Riaz Ahamed and Antony Satheesh, presented a slide show sharing some advanced photography techniques to the participants.
The winners will be presented with Nikon DSLR cameras during the 18th Annual Day Celebration of SIS today.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Subhash Nair, SIS Principal, appreciated the creativity and talents of budding photographers who displayed great professionalism in expressing their perceptions.
