Secretary-General of the Shura Council H E Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Fadhala met yesterday with Secretary-General of the National Assembly in the sisterly State of Kuwait H E Adel Al Loughani and Secretary-General of Association of Secretaries General of Arab Parliaments Jassim Al Nisf who are visiting the country to attend part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches.
Besides, Secretary-General of the Shura Council met with the Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament Kamel Mohamed Sharawy who is visiting the country to attend part of the tournament matches.
During the two meetings, they discussed the parliamentary co-operation relations and ways of strengthening the coordination, sharing the expertise and developing the action of the General Secretariates to serve the parliamentary action.
The General Secretaries praised the distinct and impressive organisation of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, underlining that Qatar has fulfilled the promise in organising an exceptional version of the World Cup.
