Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued decree No. 29 of 2014, adjourning the 42nd regular session of the Advisory Council.
The decree stipulates that the 42nd session is to be adjourned as of Sunday, ninth of the fasting month of Ramadan 1435 Hijra year, corresponding to July 6, 2014.
The council held its regular weekly meeting of the 42nd session at White Palace, under the chairmanship of Speaker Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
The Secretary-General, Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen, read the agenda which was agreed upon. Then the council endorsed the minutes of its previous session.
It discussed a report of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee on a draft law exempting certain types of goods from customs duties and decided to refer its recommendations to the Cabinet. QNA
