KABUL: Roadside bomb struck a mini-bus, killing five civilians in Taliban former stronghold, the southern Helmand province, on Saturday, spokesman for provincial government Omar Zawak said.

"The deadly incident took place in Marja district at 06:00 a.m. local time killing five innocent people including three children, a woman and a man on the spot and injuring another,"Zawak said.

He also blamed the Taliban militants for organizing the deadly attack, saying the Taliban insurgents by organizing roadside bombings and targeting security and civilians want to terrorize the people. (QNA)
