DOHA: Bangladesh Ambassador Syed Masud Mahmood Khundoker hoisted the national flag at half mast on the occasion of the 38th death anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the embassy premises on Thursday. Many embassy officials were present.
National Mourning Day included Quran Khani and discussion on the life and works of the Father of the Nation.
Messages from the president, prime minister and foreign minister of Bangladesh were read out and a special prayer was held for eternal peace of Bangabandhu, martyrs and continued peace and prosperity of Bangladesh.
