Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received the credentials of five new ambassadors to Qatar, at the Amiri Diwan, Thursday morning.
The Amir received the credentials of H E Farhad Khalif, Ambassador of the sisterly Republic of Tunisia; H E Lothar Freischlader, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany; H E Vipul, Ambassador of the Republic of India; H E Shane Flanagan, Ambassador of Australia; and H E Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan.
His Highness the Amir welcomed the ambassadors, wishing them success in their duties, and for the relations between the State of Qatar and their countries further development and growth. For their part, their Excellencies the ambassadors conveyed to His Highness the greetings of the leaders of their countries and their wishes for the Qatari people to continue progress and prosperity.
An official reception ceremony was held for their Excellencies the ambassadors upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
