PHCC opens applications for Hajj 2027 Medical Fitness Certificate

Doha, Qatar: The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has opened applications for the Medical Fitness Certificate for individuals intending to perform Hajj in 2027.

Applicants seeking the certificate can visit any Family Medicine Clinic affiliated with PHCC throughout the week, and they can visit their registered health centre without an appointment.

PHCC stated that both hard and electronic copies of the certificate will be provided. The service is free of charge for Qatari citizens and residents at all PHCC health centres. However, a fee of QR30 will be charged to residents whose health cards have expired.

PHCC has also outlined the registration requirements for Qatari citizens and non-Qatari residents.

Requirements for Qatari citizens:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be free from diseases specified by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- The application may include up to three (3) accompanying persons in addition to the primary applicant.
- If the primary applicant withdraws, the entire application will be cancelled.
- Non-Qatari first-degree relatives may be added as accompanying persons, including a wife, husband, mother, father or children.
- Must have a valid Qatari ID.

Requirements for non-Qatari residents:
- Must be 45 years of age or older.
- Must have been a resident of Qatar for at least 15 years.
- The application may include one (1) accompanying person in addition to the primary applicant.
- Must be free from diseases specified by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Must not have performed Hajj previously.
- If the primary applicant withdraws, the entire application will be cancelled.
- Must have a valid Qatari ID and health card.
