DOHA: The Ministry of Justice has referred a number of lawyers for disciplinary action as they have been found violating Article 66 of Law Number 23 of 2006 regulating their practice and registration, Al Sharq reported on its website yesterday. A committee within the Ministry, which is headed by the Minister H E Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanem, met here and took the decision to refer the erring lawyers for disciplinary panel for action. This was the committee’s routine meeting. The daily didn’t elaborate the nature of the violations the lawyers are said to have been involved in.
