Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has announced the official working hours for the departments during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH.
From Sunday to Thursday, several MOI departments will operate from 8am to 1pm. These include the General Directorate of Passports and its affiliated departments, the Nationality and Travel Documents Department, and the Criminal Evidence and Information Department.
Under the General Directorate of Traffic, the Drivers Licensing Section at driving schools will operate from 6am to 11am, while services at the Traffic Headquarters in Madinat Khalifa and external services in Al Mamoura will be available from 8am to 4.30pm.
The Vehicle Plate Manufacturing Section in Ain Khaled will operate from 8am to 4.30pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 8am to 12pm on Saturdays.
Other branches of the Vehicle Plate Manufacturing Section located in Al Egda, Al Wukair and Al Mazroua, as well as other external service branches, will operate from 8am to 1pm.
The ministry noted that security departments and traffic investigation units will continue to operate around the clock during the holy month.
