Mohammad Asif of Pakistan in action during his game on the second day of the Asian snooker championship at the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation Academy yesterday. More than 55 players from 20 countries take part in the seven-day championship under 12 groups in the preliminary rounds. The final will be played on April 23 at 11.00am and will be a best of 11 frames affair and the champion will bag a prize money of $3,500 and the runner-up $1,750.
