As part of its corporate social responsibility initiative, q.media sponsored Stenden University students for organising an event, ‘The Bigger Picture’ for Best Buddies Qatar. It was held at Oasis Beach Club for students of Shafallah Centre for Children with Special Needs, Awsaj Institute, Al Noor and Hope Qatar to increase awareness about intellectual and developmental disabilities. It involved pirate-themed activities and a treasure hunt. q.media staff worked with Best Buddies’ members, Shams Zaman, Project Manager from the university, and students Hedda Heinelt and Gaoyuan Chen.
