DOHA: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has launched a Ramadan breakfast drive in its affiliated hospitals. It is being conducted under the sponsorship of Sheikh Eid Charitable Society (SECS), which has contributed QR72,000.
Executive Director of HMC’s Corporate Communications Department, Ali Abdullah Al Khater, said: “The drive has commenced in HMC hospitals; Hamad General Hospital, Al Khor Hospital, Wakra Hospital, Heart Hospital, Rumailah Hospital, Women’s Hospital, and the National Center for Cancer Care and Research, where meals are distributed to physicians, nurses, and visitors in hospitals at the Ramadan breakfast time. The project is being overseen and conducted by HMC.”
During a meeting with officials, Yousef Jassim, Acting Head of Sheikh Eid Social Center, expressed SECS’s keenness to organise educational and recreational activities for patients at HMC hospitals.
