Cabinet allows entry of ships with armed security men

Doha: The cabinet yesterday approved a proposal by the ministry of the interior allowing ships with armed securitymen on board to enter into the Qatari territorial waters. 

The Prime Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani presided over the  weekly regular meeting. The cabinet also approved the application of the provisions of law No./24/ of 2002 concerning retirement and pension for the qatari employees in Four Seasons Hotel Doha and Al Rayyan for Media and Marketing Company.

The cabinet reviewed the two following items and took the relevant decision: 1. A letter of the Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning concerning the legislative mechanism for Qatar Rail Network Projects establishment(Rail). 2. A letter of the Chairman of Qatar Statistics Authority (QSA) regarding a report on inner migration tendencies in Qatar. Cabinet also took necessary measures for endorisng the following:  1. The framework agreement in investment field between Qatar and Bulgaria. 2. The Global Green Growth Institute. A draft A memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in organising of exhibitions between  Qatar General Tourism Authority (QGTA) and Department of Tourism Development in Ajman and a draft convention on regulating the use of Tanzanian labourers in Qatar were also pproved.QNA

 

Prime Minister meets Egyptian minister

Doha: The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani met here yesterday with Egyptian Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade, Hatem Saleh and his accompanying delegation. QNA
