Doha: The West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) General-Secretary Fadi Zureikat said the Arabs should be proud of Qatar hosting 2022 FIFA World Cup and harness their potentials to ensure the organisation of the tournament in Qatar.
He expressed belief that the hosting of 2022 World Cup during the winter season is suitable to Qatar due to the weather factor.
WAFF made the remarks on the sidelines of the Aspire Academy Global Summit in Paris.
He said the winter season would be the best time to hold the tournament because the weather is very appropriate and Qatar would harness all its potentials to organise a World Cup that remains in the memory for many years. the Peninsula/QNA
