DOHA: The Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (ictQATAR) and Qatar Assistive Technology Center (Mada) yesterday organised an interactive festivity to celebrate National Day.
The celebrations featured an interactive programme including activities that helped attendees get familiar with the Qatari culture.
Activities included the art of henna painting, traditional wear, live cooking demonstrations, and falconry show, in addition to serving traditional Qatari drinks and sweets.
“National Day is a special occasion for all of us and an opportunity to reconnect with the country’s heritage, as well as to celebrate achievements.
“At the heart of everything to do, we are driven by a commitment to make a positive difference for all people in Qatar.
“Our vision is to make Qatar a better place with technology and its benefits.
“It is also an opportunity to express feelings of love and gratefulness to this country, its people and leadership for what they have achieved throughout the years,” said Salwa Al Khal Fakhroo, Communications and Public Relations Manager.
“This is a lovely day. It makes us feel more proud of our nation’s achievements. As we celebrate National Day, we look forward to a greater, brighter future,” said Maha Al Mansoori, CEO, Mada.
