DOHA: Sidra took part in National Day celebrations by hosting activities for its employees under the theme ‘Pearl Diving’.
The day-long event was held at Sidra’s offices in Al Nasr Tower, West Bay.
Employees learned about Qatari culture, the ancient marine trade of pearl diving and enjoyed traditional music, food, a mini souq and craft-making demonstrations.
“National Day is a wonderful opportunity to highlight Qatar’s achievements and share some of our treasured customs with the Sidra community.
“We are proud that we have more than 30 nationalities working at Sidra, and we hope that the festivities in Qatar will be a fun and engaging way for them to learn more about our culture and instil a sense of pride and belonging,” said Eman Nasralla, Community Relations and Development Manager, Sidra Medical and Research Center.
