Doha, Qatar: Arab Cup events at Lusail Boulevard will not take place today due to current weather conditions, Lusail City announced via its social media handles.
Several parts of the State of Qatar, including Doha, have been affected by heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder on Thursday, December 15.
The Qatar Meteorological Department advised people to take caution as it said in a series of weather updates that thundery rain was expected to persist at times, accompanied by strong winds and possible hail, which the Department confirmed was observed in the Al Kharrarah area.
