Doha: Trophies and certificates were awarded to the winners of MES Indian Schoolwho took part in Esperenza-2021 interschool music and dance competition. Principal, Hameeda Kadar distributed prizes in a function organised at the school.
MES bagged the overall championship in the Interschool Dance and Music Video Contest organised recently by Birla Public School. MES participated in all 14 events and won prizes in nine items.
Aaesha Fathima Basheer of Class 5 and Eshaal Abdul Saleem of Class 10 won first prizes in Classical Dance junior and Western Dance Senior respectively. Sohan Sandeep of Class 2 in Dance Sub Junior, Parvathi Krishna of Class 5 in Western Dance Junior, Prarthana Shaju Nair of Class 8 in Classical Dance Intermediate category, and Arundhathi Gopikrishnan of Class 10 in Classical Dance, senior category secured second prizes.
Anna Lorance of Class 5, Krishnabala Das of Class 9, and Bharathi Prathyuksh of Class 8 were the third prize winners in Patriotic song in Junior, Western Music and Senior Western Dance Intermediate categories respectively. Anwar VP, Kavitha, Sivgowri, Seema and Rajani SN of Department of Fine Arts trained the students. Anver K and Sumitha Abdul Naser were the coordinators from MES Indian School.
