“Save The Arctic” movement takes part in the world’s largest participatory art project — the acclaimed “Inside Out” project — by creating a unique art piece at the North Pole. Over a thousand self-portraits were submitted from all over the world by individuals calling for a ban on destructive industry in the Arctic. These were combined into a massive composite eye image, which was carried to the top of the world and placed on the Arctic ice by a group of activists after a gruelling seven-day trek.
