Qatar Stock Exchange down 1.09pc

DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Thursday at 12,453.76 points (1.09 percent) down 137.56 points from the previous closing of 12,591.32 points on Wednesday.

The volume of shares was up to 13,907,392 from Wednesday 8,500,251 and the value of shares increased to QR636,361,321.41 from QR496,126,315.82 on Wednesday.

Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share down 3.83 percent to QR176.00, Qatar Islamic Bank lost 1.51 percent to QR91.60, Industries Qatar fell 1.45 percent to QR177.20 and Doha Bank decreased by 2.50 percent to QR58.50.  (QNA)
