DOHA: Mowasalat participated in a conference on “international transport-challenges facing mass transport and taxis and systems linking various means of transport”, held in Moscow, Russia earlier this month. At the conference, Mowasalat was represented by its executive director Ahmed Bu Sherbak Al Mansouri and Eng Ali Abdulla Bahzad, director of operations.
Ali Abdulla Bahzad, Mowasalat presented a paper under the title “systems linking various means of transport under modern development”.
The paper dealt with the challenges facing the public transport worldwide. It showed that the real challenges are the increasing congestion, infrastructure, endless cities and the high cost of living, which lead people to look for a less expensive means of transport.The Peninsula
