DOHA: Qatar Airways’ Al Darb Qatarisation Programme has welcomed more than 200 nationals to its nine educational and training programmes for 2015.
As part of the ever-expanding programme which is now in its fourth year, each individual will be supported by one of the 159 performance coaches to maintain their on-job training and development plan.
New joiners include engineers, cadet pilots, graduate developees, sponsored students and direct hires, all of whom will be provided with a customised programme to help them meet their professional needs and career aspirations.
The nine Al Darb training programmes include National Scholarship Programme, Cadet Pilot Programme, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Programme, Summer Internship Programme, Graduate Development Programme, Aviation Management Programme, Airport Operations Management Programme, Jossor Programme and the Massey University MBA Programme.
Nabeela Fakhri, Qatar Airways Senior Vice-President, Human Resources Employee Services said, “Al Darb Qatarisation Programme will provide our nationals with guidance and support throughout their journey in the aviation
industry and help them acquire the skills and knowledge they need to help them succeed in their chosen career path with the Skytrax Airline of the Year.
The Al Darb programme works to provide talented nationals with a unique experience and on prospective by providing career development opportunities working in Qatar Airways offices worldwide such as in the UK, the USA, Switzerland, Austria and the United Arab Emirates.
