DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Sunday, adding 3.60 points (or 0.04%) to advance to 8,625.33 points from 8,621.73 Thursday.
The volume of the shares traded fell to 52,920,508 from 5,103,213 on Thursday and the value of shares decreased to QR165,012,303.46 from QR196,451,326.86 Thursday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.15% to QR134.70, Industries Qatar rose 1.04% to QR164.70, Commercial Bank of Qatar gained 0.13% to QR75.20 and Qatar Telecom up by 0.74% to QR109.30.
The Banking and Financial sector index down 0.04 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 0.42 points. The industrial sector gained 0.44 points while insurance sector dropped 0.24 points. (QNA)
