DOHA: An orientation seminar, focusing on preparation for the Board exams was organised for DPS-Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) students of Class XII recently.
The orientation aimed at preparing the students to cope with pressure of competing with other students across India and abroad.
Principal Asna Nafees; Headmistress (Sr Sec) Soma Bhattacharjee; School Counsellor Sumati Ramachandra and HoDs of all subjects shared tips to guide students to face examination and score well in the exams.
The students were briefed on subject-specific strategies to be adopted to get higher marks.
They were advised that a thorough revision of syllabus, written practice and time management are factors not to be ignored. They were also given tips on relaxation techniques.
At the end of the orientation, the students took home the message that being in extreme pressure and stress won’t get you good marks; instead proper time management and smart work will fetch you the best score card.
