DOHA: Qatar Petroleum’s Industrial Cities Directorate recently hosted Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, and his delegation at the facilities of QP in Mesaieed. The minister and his team were on an official visit to Qatar to discuss matters of mutual interest and enhance bilateral relations, a press release said yesterday.
The Director of the Industrial Cities, Abdulaziz Jassim Al Muftah, welcomed the minister and the delegation. A presentation about the facilities at Mesaieed, the industries, the port, and ongoing and future projects was made. The delegation toured the city and the port.
Shahin spoke about the accomplishments and growth of the city and the port, declaring that he was pleased and honoured to be introduced to Mesaieed Industrial City’s history, mission, experiences and success. Al Muftah presented a memento to the minister and thanked him and the official delegation for their visit to MIC.
