Doha, Qatar: The Meteorology Department has issued an advisory today, July 20, 2025, of observed dust carried by fresh to strong northwesterly winds in some areas.
The expected strong winds will last throughout the daytime, with hot to very hot temperatures reaching 43°C in Doha, with slight dust to blowing dust and a chance of some clouds at times.
Inshore wind speeds are expected to range between 10 to 20 knots but can reach up to 30 knots during daytime, while offshore will stabilize around 3 to 12 knots.
There is no marine advisory for the day however, as the wave heights range between 2 to 4 feats, possibly rising to 6 feats.
Caution is advised for commuters around Qatar.
