Doha, Qatar: Qatar’s summer entertainment offerings have expanded with the launch of the ColorVerse Experience, a next-generation immersive attraction that combines interactive storytelling, digital technology and live performances to create a unique family-friendly adventure at Katara Cultural Village.
Running from July 16 to September 15, 2026, at Katara Cultural Village’s South Parking, the attraction has been introduced by Qatar Calendar in partnership with Spacetoon as part of Visit Qatar’s Hala Summer 2026 campaign, further strengthening the country’s diverse lineup of seasonal experiences for residents and visitors alike.
Designed for families and children aged four years and above, the ColorVerse Experience offers visitors an interactive walkthrough where entertainment meets technology in a vibrant multisensory environment. The attraction is open from 4pm to 10pm on weekdays and 4pm to 11pm on weekends, with tickets available through Platinumlist.
At the heart of the attraction is the magical world of Colorama, a once-colourful land that has lost its vibrancy after being invaded by mysterious creatures known as the Munchers. Visitors assume the role of “Restorers” under the guidance of a character named HUE, embarking on a mission to revive the world’s RGB colour system by completing a series of engaging challenges across seven themed zones.
As participants progress through the experience, they gradually restore colour, energy and life to Colorama before reaching Colorama City for the final mission, making every visitor an active participant in the unfolding adventure rather than a passive observer.
The attraction integrates advanced entertainment technologies, including projection mapping, dynamic lighting effects, immersive sound design, motion-based experiences and interactive scenic environments. These features are complemented by digital gameplay, hands-on challenges and collaborative activities designed to encourage teamwork and creative problem-solving among families and children.
Visitors can also enjoy live stage performances, meet-and-greet sessions with ColorVerse characters and a variety of interactive installations that further enhance the immersive experience. The combination of storytelling, live entertainment and digital innovation reflects the growing demand for experiential attractions that appeal to audiences of all ages.
The launch of ColorVerse Experience forms part of Hala Summer 2026, Visit Qatar’s flagship seasonal campaign that aims to position Qatar as one of the region’s leading family summer destinations. The campaign features an extensive programme of entertainment, shopping promotions, hospitality offers and cultural activities taking place across the country throughout the summer months.
Among the highlights of Hala Summer 2026 is the Kids Go Free initiative, allowing children under the age of 12 to stay, dine and enjoy selected attractions at no additional cost. The campaign also includes indoor entertainment experiences, family-focused events, shopping promotions and a packed calendar of lifestyle and cultural activities designed to provide exceptional value for visitors.
