Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived Friday morning in Riyadh, the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to take part in the summit of the GCC countries and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), scheduled to be held later today in the city of Riyadh.
Upon arrival at King Khalid International Airport, HH the Amir was welcomed by the Acting Governor of Riyadh Region at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia HRH Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Mayor of the Riyadh region HH Prince Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Bin Ayyaf, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) HE Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia HE Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Qatar HH Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al-Saud and members of the Qatari embassy.
HH the Amir is accompanied by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and an official delegation.
