Washington: OpenAI has launched a new feature called ChatGPT Slides, allowing users to create, edit and share presentations directly within ChatGPT Space without the need for separate software.
The feature enables users to generate presentations from text conversations, documents or simple outlines, as well as convert uploaded files and text-based information into complete presentations with a single prompt, saving time and effort.
ChatGPT Slides offers tools to modify presentation designs and content, including regenerating entire slides, resizing shapes, updating charts and data, editing text directly, replacing images and adding new visual elements.
Users can also collaborate by sharing presentation links, adding comments and making live edits.
Presentations can be exported to Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides and PDF formats for further editing using other tools.
OpenAI said the feature is now available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers, with access expected to expand later to Pro, Business and Enterprise subscribers through web and desktop applications. A paid subscription is currently required.
The launch reflects OpenAI's broader efforts to expand ChatGPT's productivity and enterprise capabilities by providing AI-powered tools for content creation, editing and collaboration within a unified workspace.
