Doha: President of the sisterly State of Palestine H E Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Doha yesterday to attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 which takes place today at Al Bayt Stadium.
His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by Minister of State H E Sheikh Fahd bin Faisal Al Thani, and Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Qatar H E Munir Abdullah Ghannam.
