DOHA: Qatar Airways yesterday announced an increase in the number of scheduled flights to Bangkok from three to four a day, effective February 20 next year.
The increase in daily service, taking the frequency up to 28 non-stop flights a week, is in response to growing demand, particularly from key feeder markets across Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Americas, the airline said yesterday.
Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport is one of Asia’s premier hubs and from here passengers can connect to destinations in neighbouring countries and across Thailand. All flights on the Doha – Bangkok route are operated with Qatar Airways’ flagship long-haul Boeing 777 aircraft. Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker said the additional flight was possible as more long-haul aircraft join the fleet. The Peninsula
